| There is a small tube that runs into the cold area of the evaporative coil. The "probe" end of the thermostat is inserted into this tube. Insert about 6" to 12" |
The evap coil is shown with its cover off. Usually I just work by feel through the control hole in the end of the cover. There is nothing sharp to hurt you. |
The black dial that fits on the temperature control is labeled 1 to 9. I set it halfway- at 5- and adjust from there. When the cooler gets as cold as I want (usually 32) I use my very tiny jewelers scredriver to turn the "cut out" screw warmer until the main motor turns off. |
