1) We start with dead beverage cases. The outside box is good- well insulated foam filled steel shell, triple pane glass doors-  but the mechanicals, the working parts, are bad. Besides, they are dry for beverages, not humid for flowers.

   2) A dead condensing unit can be made to work with a few new parts. Why not repair it instead of replace it? Its cheaper in the short run but the expense of future repairs is not worth the savings up front. We junk everything and put in all BRAND NEW!

 Paint-  
1) Pressure wash to remove grease.
2) Repair any dents or scratches.
3) Chemical etch to remove gloss.
4) Special commercial black primer.
5) "Hammered" finish. A delicate texture with extreme scratch resistence.
6) Black is our standard color in and out but you may choose any color you wish in Rustoleum hammered paint for an extra $50. Some colors hold up better than others so ask John.

Glass doors- 
Complete cleaning and roller replacement if ANY indication of trouble.
Check for internal fog. Replace glass if ANY sign of internal moisture.
Factory door closing system with weights inside walls often causes trouble after a few years and becomes hard to open. We have developed our own system of door closure which makes it easier to open and shut and all florists prefer it.

 Electrical and mechanical parts-
Lights: New tubes in all locations; new ballasts.
Fans inside cooler: Because fans last 30 to 40 years we only replace those over 10 years old. Either way is fully warranted.
Refrigeration system: All mechanical pumps and motors are new. The only part of the refrigeration system we keep is the copper tubing and we check it throughly. We replace it if there is any chance it may be contaminated or damaged.
